In this Blog I have shared some of my easy breezy and fun summer outfit pictures. Fashion for me doesn't work in a straight line because I like to mix and match, sometimes be lazy and experiment and sometimes just accessorise to make simple clothes look like party wear. Most important tip I can give to you is to be sassy and feel confident because confidence can make any outfit look good and even if you are surrounded by gorgeous women you would still always stand out. Dressing up and styling should always be personal and comforting and seen as source of entertainment- not to be taken too seriously or too casually. Think that you are reflecting a feel good and #positivevibes !
I know it's cliche these days to say Fashion = Comfort however, you might be in a very comfortable attire but there would be others looking more attractive than you while they are wearing uncomfortable clothes just to look amazing. That's why I say that it's important to have fun with whatever you are wearing and be confident of who you are. Here are some of my simple summer looks. I might be adding more and more stuff to this Blog as time goes.
1. Starting from a short sequinned dress with a base of off-white silvery grey colour. You can wear it for a party or for an evening get together, it works pretty well with simple makeup, but I felt crimson red lipstick enhanced this look even more.
2. Ganji & Jeans accessorised with black Sunglasses, a sling bag & a scarf belt for summers is probably the easiest thing to do. It not only feels good but also looks good if you carry it with confidence.
3. What can be the best option if you are thinking of a Jungle safari looking out at elephants. Obviously, you won't go for heavy duty fashion statement because being relaxed in your immediate surroundings matters the most. So this one is a basic printed cotton shorts with a white spaghetti top and black flip-flops. #Chitwan
4. Kurti with a short bustier beneath, teamed with Black Plazo and my favourite black bag
5. Jumpsuit
This is one of my most unique dress which I honestly have no idea where I purchased from and it was in my closet because it used to be a bit loose. But since 2019 it has started fitting me better and I love it because the cloth is sturdy (unlike a lot of jumpsuit material) and the colour is so simple to the eyes. It does match the colour of a police uniform but it looks stylish and has a happy vibe to it.
6. Short Blue dress
I loved this dress more now because I can't seem to find it. Maybe I left it behind with my big wardrobe full of clothes in Bombay. Or maybe it's somewhere I don't remember but I wore it at the Goa beach few times (during my 3.5 month stay) and I remember it to be not only soothing to the eye but also quite comfortable
#Sunglasses play an important role in sunny days because not only they protect the eyes from direct sunlight but also add an extra element to my personality and I do recommend it as a fashion accessory (must have). And don't forget to look for something that goes well with your face. For me, I am inseparable from them and if I like a pair then I would keep on wearing it till something more exciting comes my way.
7. An off-shoulder Maxi dress with slits on the sides. This is another perfect dress for the beach or lake-side ( here I am next to a monsoon river stream) or an evening date. It's feminine and flattering.
8. Black & white off shoulder cropped top with black high waist plazo
8. This is my favourite look because not only I had many pairs of this combination, but it was perfect for trekking and hanging out in the mountains of Nepal during the summers. I loved this style during my #solotravel time at Pokhara where I spent around 4 months. Pokhara weather is a combination of Summer and Monsoon. In the lovely tropical weather, this simple combination caught everyone's attention while I found it to be the most comfortable thing to wear.
9. A Saree in Summers has to be light and easy on the eyes. The colour pink made it stand out and all the golden work done on it made it look classy. Don't worry if its hot outside and there's no option but to step out, just make sure the colour is a pastel one especially if it's day time.
Lots of Love
