Origin of Twinflames/ Cardinal Twinflames

If you are familiar with the word 'Twinflame' then by now (out of curiosity) you have searched different definitions. The most popular one says Twinflame is the other half of your soul. 1 soul split into 2 equal halves. Romantically it sounds very beautiful but when one has to go through the challenges and difficulties of different stages it doesn't feel so great, especially before Surrender. Many couples start out as Twinflames but later on go away because they cannot handle the intensity and realize they were with a False Twin or it's better heal first. There is a confusion around this subject because a lot of people assume they are in a Twinflame relationship & experience the Ascension journey even when they might not be. Whatever maybe the confusion, but if you are sure that you are going through a difficult experience and still not reaching anywhere, then you should know that everything that you are going through was pre-destined. Some will have to go through different relationships but not find any peace or real depth and then fix themselves during Therapy or Self Inner Work. Eventually through deep healing they enter a relationship or find a Mission that mirrors their Inner State of Mind. There is no fixed mold or set-pattern for Twinflames that's why its best to seek inspiration from Radha-Krishna, Sita-Ram (Vishnu-Laxmi) and Siva-Parvati because they give you hope as all of them had many challenges yet they experienced True Love. 

Krishna had many wives, literally uncountable but till today he is worshipped with Radha in most temples. Ram and Sita are Laxmi-Vishnu's incarnation from descending Treta. They got married and had kids but lived separately experiencing separation-union couple of times but kept Mission as number 1. In fact they got separated for mission itself. Shiva had 2 wives Sati and Parvati who experienced Ardhanareshwar form showing the world when you become half woman- half man you get into Union. This is a guided journey so whatever happens will be good for you as an individual. 

In today's heavily programmed world, it could be possible that you have been in long-term relationships or flings but none of them worked. It frustrates you and you want only the real deal for which you first want to work on yourself and then think about committing to anyone. In cases where people meet someone who they label as their Twinflame-the weight of the label also creates the expectation of perfection from the Lover. The perfect assumed image of TF  clashes with reality and doesn't match. This creates deep disappointment, hopelessness and anger too. One thinks that wasn't this relationship supposed to be a supportive and perfect relationship? How come it's not? Here the seeker feels deep betrayal by both Twinflame and God. It's important to understand that You are a Twinflame yourself first and your partner is simply mirroring your wounds. They are here only to show you that you need healing to become complete, whole and divine again. Demands maybe justifiable but your understanding about 'Love' is either incorrect or it's complete.
